Soccer tour

A new tourist option has been growing in the city of São Paulo: guided tours of the stadiums. These are tours in which fans, or football fans, have the opportunity to learn details of the club's history, as well as spaces they would not have access to on the day of a game, such as the changing rooms and the lawn. For clubs, tours around the arenas help to increase revenue.

In Itaquera, Arena Corinthians opened space for fans to visit in May 2017. Since then, the venue has received 136,000 visitors. The monthly average is 4,200 people. Already the expectation for the month of January, for example, is to receive more than five thousand fans.
Guided by hosts trained by the club itself, fans take advantage of the tour to discover some curiosities about the stadium and visit the most coveted places that are generally prohibited for fans. The tour starts by showing the outside of the venue, passes through the atrium and then fans get to know the "business lounge", go to the box, press room and auditorium.

The most awaited part by Corinthians fans is at the end of the tour, which lasts a little over an hour. They repeat the path of the squad's players through the warm-up room to the team's locker room. There, the players' shirts are hanging just like on match days, and photos are released.
